Of the damaged locations, at least 11 are military bases or facilities, accounting for nearly half of all American military establishments in the region.
Among the heaviest losses were air defense systems. Satellite imagery displayed harm to a "$1.1 billion early-warning radar" near Umm Dahal, Qatar, which is engineered to monitor an area spanning a 4,800-kilometer (3,000-mile) radius.
